The hike to the fast huayhuash, cuyoc pass of 8 days, is suitable for those hikers who are looking for a challenging route and have limited time. This trek is a delightful and remote experience, where seven high passes (all over 4600 m.) Are crossed, especially to the Cuyoc Pass of 5000m. Camping every night above 4000m. When walking it crosses narrow and boxed valleys that form the steepest relief of the Peruvian Andes, and glacial lakes where the mountains are reflected, also shows a series of breathtaking views of the peaks and snows above 6000m.

One fully qualified, certified and experienced mountain guide who speaks Spanish and English if required, and who holds a first aid certificate in mountain rescue.

Muleteer
The muleteer (arriero) is in charge of loading the donkeys, looking after them and guiding them to camp.
Donkeys
The number of donkeys provided depends on the size of de the group.
You are allowed to bring up to 5 kg of personal belongings that will be loaded on the donkeys. You will only carry your daypack during the day.

One horse accompanies the group for emergency purposes.

From Huayllapa we start through the huancho valley to the Huatiaq field.
The walk lasts 5 to 6 hours.

Another challenging day, we climb with an ascent to the Tapush Pass and then to Llaucha Point, where we have the last view of the Huayhuash Mountain Range.
From Llaucha step we do not go through the Huacrish hill to see main peak such as, Rondoy, Jirishanca, Yerupaja, Siula Sarapo, Rasac, the great and small Sacra.
Then descend with the view of the lagoon Jahuacocha and Solteracocha in the background, and then the field.
The walk lasts from 8 to 9 hours

Breakfast
We leave through the Achín valley to Pampa Llamac.
From Pampa Llamac descent to the town of Llamac, where our private transportation picks us up.
Return to the city of Huaraz, and the trip lasts 5 hours.
